About UAE National Center of Meteorology and Seismology:
In the year 2007, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal decree Law No. (6) Of the year 2007 to establish the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) in the UAE is engaged in the study of a broad range of atmospheric phenomena and processes, using methods ranging from mathematical analysis to eld experimentation. Research projects range in size from basic studies involving individual scientists to national and international programs involving teams of scientists
Achieve excellence in meteorological and earthquakes services and to contribute to the development of science by endorsing sustainable development of the Country.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology aims to unite the source of meteorological and earthquakes in the Country and to control changes that occur to the atmosphere and the earth's crust and to deliver meteorological services.
